I never use bloodlust.
In fact the only time i conquered the world was in gotm#21!:p

I probably should though. I might get a bit of conquering experience!(which i need)

The only problem i get when trying to conquer is getting nuked! :nuke: Its kind of annoying.

:wallbash:

yup for conquest I always endup building michalangelo's chapple while playing ICS thenonce you get to modern times switching to fundamentalism and buying a city of two a turn with all the surpluss gold, too easy...just be sure to start that before they get advanced flight...

I do, most of the times. The only way I really get a sense of victory is when I conquer the world:evil: (that's probably why I don't like Civ 3, with its "culture victory" and stuff:rolleyes: ). So, with the bloodlust mode I don't have to worry about spaceships or anything.

The space race is lame... that's why I play bloodlust, always. And even in deity, it's very easy with howitzers...

Never use it.

Without it, you can still win by conquest anyways, so it just limits your options. As for the AI blasting off the rock, well...if you can't control the AI, do you really deserve to win?

i love developing my civ too into a huge thriving empire, although i do sometimes lack on the military of my civ :(

I never plan for bloodlust but some times the AI tasks us so!

Early this winter I played a game where the AI just sneak attacked itself out of existence. I even softened up and allowed it to keep it’s last two cities and signed the offered peace treaty but then those pesky rifle men opened fire the following turn and well the stealth fighters got going and that was that, probably could have launched in another 10 years or so two but the AI didn’t want to wait around I guess.

Another sign to add to the you know you play CIV too much when thread.
You start assigning a personality to the AI.

Help me, I am playing CIV and can’t, well ok chose not to, get up.

I have done it now and again, but usually go for world conquest and the spaceship, rather than the former to the exclusion of the latter; it provides more dimensions to the game.
