blue marble installation?

Should the blue marble be affect the files listed in my civ4 main folder?

For some reason when i run the 2.0 blue marble it keeps updating a file in another folder created in MY Documents>Games>Civ 4 folder instead of my main Civ 4 folder in Programs files.

I am not sure if that is how it was made to work or not .When i launch Civ 4 it does have the blue marble notation under the civ 4 main title page.

Just wandering?

Perhaps it copies files to the "Custom Assets" directory under My Documents\.... Consult in the thread about this mod if you wish (somewhere here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=172). Or just enjoy the fact that it works and live in blissful ignorance.

It is loaded as a mod, so it doesn't affect the files in the main game section. Mods are stored in your custom assets folder under the \My Documents\My games\

I thought the "normal" path for mods is programfiles\firaxisgames\sidmeiersciv\Mods ... ?
