[BNW] Smartest AI leaders

Why don't you start a poll,...I am pretty sure there are options for multiple votes,....So, if you want top 10 or whatever...??

No love for Monty or Ethiopia?

I Don't agree with Ethiopia because he has a tendency to place his second city far away from his capital....Easy Target! Many people use him on Gauntlets for that very reason!

I have just finished my second game overall (emperor, korea) and i think no matter how bad the computer is it will do well with korea

I made horrible mistakes (i didnt spread my religion so was culture / faith starved) and i didnt realise rationalism was open so took too many commerce policies.

But i still headed off into space a full 21 turns faster than with england (turn 332 this time, which probably sucks but seemed super fast )

Their turtle ship seems great for coastal defense too

So i would say add korea.

No love for Monty or Ethiopia?

True, Monty is a dangerous adversary, although usually not a backstabber.
Ethiopia defend well. Japan have been tough on me as well.
All tribes are potentially dangerous, depending on map and starting terrain, among other things.
Make sure you cripple or even take out India early if you can, that friggin' nuke lovin' Gandhi, I tell ya.

Ps. May I congratulate you on a fine choice of starting tribe, Rome, wonder of the world!

In my experience, the AIs that perform best are the ones whose algorithms most recognise the value of conquest and expansion.

They are:

Pocatello, Alex, Dido, Monty, Bismarck, Oda, Casimir and Shaka.

Sejong can be a threat if he has natural protection from mountains or something like that, but in general, if they turtle they suck, because while the Tradition civs are reaping the benefits of their 3 cities, the ICSers are having lots of benefits with very little drawback.

BTW, this is on Deity.
