Has anyone else had this experience that bombers do not completely protect squares from enemy armour? A couple of times recently I have lost a diplomat who was in the same square as a bomber to an armoured attack.
The bomber is of course unharmed and the attacker does not of course stay in the same square but flashes in and out in the blink of an eye. Maybe only diplomats, who the AI hates and fears, are vulnerable. Maybe any fast moving unit has the theoretical chance of doing this. Anyone seen a battleship sink a vessel under a bomber carrying a diplomat for example?

It's happened often. But then I kick myself for stacking units in the first place.

Well, er…it sure happens but I wouldn't say this phenomenon is anything to do with stacking. I only lose one unit According to the manual dammit it should be safe!
