I haven't bought civ5 (only played the demo). I'll wait until mods make the game balanced and more in depth before I buy it.
I'm currently playing the original X-com (downloaded from steam) and Fallout: New Vegas (also a steam game). I couldn't help click on x-com when I saw that along side Fallout New Vegas on my steam games list (I only have 2 steam games). That game is addictive as ever. It shows Civ5's fancy graphics can't hold a candle to the strategy and tactics in X-com.
