A popular game, this one, it seems. It's always nice to see a high number of submissions. And I very much much enjoyed reading all your write-ups in the spoiler threads. This game we also welcome two new players - @dontworryabouttsunami and @5tephen. (@Walter_Wolf would have got a mention for submitting the first game in many years, but missed the deadline) Hello and welcome to you all!

Anyway, onto the winners... I think the biggest congratulations should go to @Fippy, who won fastest domination (1060AD) and the silver medal for 2nd highest final score... playing the deity challenger save! The gold and bronze medals also went to domination victories by @WastinTime and @Conquistador 63 , but without the added challenger difficulty. @krikav and @MirrorGuard were also brave enough to risk playing challenger - and won (quite an achievement) but without getting awards.

Practically everyone won went for domination, with just a smattering of diplo and religious wins (@Powerfaker managed the fastest diplo, @LowtherCastle the fastest religious), and one single Cultural win - @Jovan Kukic, who therefore was automatically the fastest one!

Congratulations to everyone!

Here's where everyone settled.

This map suggests this wasn't a game for settling in place if you wanted to win ;) ! Interesting that so many of those who went for the plains hill headed 1S, but only one person (@crofter) went for the 1SE plains hill, despite that one offering the promise of more land

The Small Print:
The numbers by each player's name indicate the turn settled on (starting turn is 0). Players are colour coded by game class (challenger=red, adventurer=blue). Symbols indicate victory condition, if there's no symbol then the player either retired or was defeated. The yellow border indicates the land that was visible at the start of the game.

Hard to believe there are so many who choose to settle on 1S PH. IIRC, there is forest on that hill. Compared to settling on ivory, it would cost 1 more turn and a 20h forest without significant benefit.
