So here's a Brazil game for you.
The Brazilian historical goals are:
1. The Golden Law: Control 10 Slave Plantations and 4 Pastures in 1880 AD
2. Maracana, Cristo Redentor, Itaipu: Build Wembley, Cristo Redentor and the Three Gorges Dam
3. Pindorama: Control 20 Forest Preserves and have a National Park in your capital by 1950 AD
There are exactly 10 calendar resources in Brazil so you just need 10 slaves. Normally you can buy them from the Netherlands and Congo. As for the pastures, my recommendation is that you go for Buenos Aires or Canada(as you'll see in my game). However, Ethiopia, Australia and other places can also be your targets, they are just not as rewarding and consistent with the 3rd goal.
To build the required great wonders you need to research the required technologies first. Expansion helps but wars don't as much, so expand with minimal warfare. Sometimes the Ottomans run out of control and get to be super-advanced and it's impossible for you to build the required wonders(citis mentioned this), but it's not always the case. If you see Turkey and Russia having a mutual defensive pact, you know it's time to roll another start. If not, try to play on, you should be able to do it.
The third goal asks for a lot of forest preserves. This is in part contradictory to the unique ability of Madeireiros: chopping down trees provides extra

. To avoid this inconsistency, my idea is to chop down the worthless rainforests/jungles in Brazil and build forest preserves in the Canadian tundra forests. This strategy synergizes with Brazil's internal need for expansion, and the pre-built Administrative Center in Rio de Janeiro provides the perfect support.
