y is thear no bridge on the river kwai wonder??
the fact is, this was a incredable project, under extream condiscions, that was completed rapidly, and continued operation untill the end of ww2.

even today, a project like that whould take years and years.

There was never the bridge over river kwai in a way people think it did. It should be Burma railway instead (job better suitable for modders, if someone really wants this "wonder" - maybe a railroad version of roman roads).

Trivia

The railroad ran along the River Kwai, but never crossed it. The great river crossing was over the Mae Klung. The title was changed for the movie to make it ambiguous.
