i was looking at the civs in the manual last night and noticed it said britain instead of england:hmm: that suprised me because on the game it says england. when you go to pick a civ it says england. when you go to pick ai it says england. in diplomacy it says english so whats the deal with britain

at first they were going to call england britain, but then they changed their minds. The manuals are printed well before the game is released, so they didnt get a chance to change it.

Another symptom of the late change is the unexpected presence of that well known English Great Leader, (William) Wallace in the game!

A fas paux is when you stop a game quickly to go the the bathroom. ;)

I didn't know Wallace was in the game :o

what the hell is a fas paux????

One would assume it's a poorly spelled "faux pas;" that is mistake, error, blunder, etc. Derived from the French for "false step."

Scandanavia is like that too. In one screen, its Scandanavia and in the other, its the Vikings, it confused me at first.

In non-PTW Civ 3, Genghis Khan was a well-known Chinese great leader.
