you know, i think i got this uniform color off of a pic i saw or something, but that doesn't mean its accurate. i had a lot of uniforms to make when i was doing these units

Also, the actual uniform did differ as per the war theatre it was supposed to be used in. (The desert version, for instance, was definitely more khaki i.e. yellow instead of the "regular" green.)
