Broken cataphracts

I just played a game where I attacked a stack ofunits that contained about 7-8 catapults in it. i attacked with 10 Cataphracts...they did no damage to the catapults from "flanking"

You have to survive to deliver flanking damage - did you?

Bugger. Can you reproduce it consistently?

Were they in a fort or city? I don't recall ever seeing flanking damage delivered to a unit in a city.
