Broken version and waiting for BNW

can you also list which files to delete to get it working. I tried deleting all the social and policy files, that fixed the social panel, but broke the tech and civolpeida files.

This will not realy help you, since iam using a different version then you, it will create some bugs.
The best thing would be to release a CCTP BNW version (hotfix).
So every player could help game balancing, and bug finding.
Note: Without fires lua knowlege we will not be able to include the CCTP policies and mapsystem (vanilla will work instead)

Does Fires still lurk here?
 
I've tried playing with your fix, but I'm finding that I can't build anything in a few of my cities. In City A, I can produce units and buildings, but in City B, I can't command it to produce anything.

Yeah that suckes, i altered a testing version (chromes last running version 3.2013.).
And believe me it took much time to find the problems.
Anyway there are still things to do, and i didnt created a new version of CCTP.
Just changed files and created a new CCTP BNW mod (hotfix), with all the things needed.
We could upload this version and the hotfix, but since i didnt get any answer from chrome, i wait.


*Added cultureOverwiew.lua to the mod (thanks to Leugi), allowes all Great Works in your cities to be moved and traded.
*Added new specialist to CCTP
*Added new improvments-techchanges to the Mod.
*Added Great Work Slots and themebonus.
 
Buildings and techs are still appearing as TXT_KEY entries rather than actual text. Do you know of a way to fix this? I like that the mod is working for BNW but it's annoying.

Hmm, it was not shown when i tested it, so i bet i have not added english text support. Damn that was it, only De no Us support.
Here is the correct file, with both german and english support. Just replace it with the file in CCTP (Text). This should fix this.
If this doesnt help, please post your database log......

Policies aren't showing up like they should either... is this deliberate? Honestly, we should completely forget about ideologies as they are implemented in BNW, as we have a perfectly working system. Also, CCtP resources are not showing up properly.
 
The vanilla policies are showing up correctly in my version. Please post your log. Without that i have to guess.

The main problem is fires complete overwork of the policysystem.
Due lua changes for BNW the policy system is broken. The best would be if fires could look into this problem.
Anyway you can modify the new system and add ideologies. Also you can add new resolutions and projects. There are many possibilities, and well i miss the CCTP policy system as well. But other parts of the mod where more important, so here we are.

I think that once all of the bugs are resolved, we should work at making significant new features (such as my corporation system) before releasing CCtP v4.

Thats what iam doing.
When i see its working, i try to include it.
Like Mountain Yields or very nasty barbarians.

Note: dll mod from whoward is working with CCTP, tested are passable forts, working distance and tunnels.
Also the Healthmechanic from Framearchitect is working fine (tweaked for CCTP)
 
Adding stuff to a broken mod, great way of reducing bugs.
Your still missing functions from the tech table, how far have you tested this? Turnwise? Era ect. Brecause I can see several things that may or may not crash the client late game due to missing functions the dll will be calling that are not there.
 
Also you should be making changes to the latest updated version(That worked with the BNW Pre Patch) that Chrome was working on and changed a lot.

Well i only put it on mediafire, because i was asked to much about a running version.
Still waited more then a week, but no news from chrome or fires.

Its not my goal to take the advantage on this mod, iam only doing this because i like this mod and wanna play it. So i only added the features, chromed liked to see it in the game, we talked about this in the past a lot. Also i didnt setuped CCTP in my modbuddy, so its a hard way to change it this way.

Since my own project took enourmus time, i would be glad in spending my time in gaming not modding.,
 
Bare in mind its around Exam time/end of year for Chrome(Students) now, patience :)

I have access to the last copy of the mod Chrome was working on, I shall start porting it over to BNW if there is still no Chrome/Fires around by the end of the week, but and this is a BIG but, it will only be a Lite version, no Policies and or Tech, chrome was doing something with the techs in the version I have access too, and they are all messed up in there, and since I do not know what he was upto in there, I would rather leave them out than revert them back and undo all his work.

Porting it to BNW safely will take time so I will probably do it in stages, release each stage to to forums for testing. If ya have a List of things that you have fixed post them for me via notes and or xml's and I shall start there.
