Browser Tabs -- do you really need them?

I did read it. But since i don't own a Mac and i know very little about them, i simply abstained to comment it. About it being inconvenient, what to say? It's your opinion. Personally i find very easy to press Ctrl-Tab and Alt-Tab in rapid sequences, but someone may find it unpratical.
If you had actually registered what I said about Macs and apple-`, you would have realised that it is very simmilar to Ctrl-Tab in function; it allows you to swich between multiple windows of the same program. Or perhalps I was unclear about what the apple-` keys do.

On a Mac, command-option-left/right arrow works fine for switching tabs.

I did not know about Ctrl-Tab, but I expected something like it existed. It is still not the same as using Alt tab to swich between other programs and multiple web pages by pressing two buttons a few times. It would be inconvineint (and has been inconvienient on Macs) to have to swich to the web broser first, then to swich to the desired window/tab of the broser, then to swich back to an other aplication, then back to the first web page. Yet I have found need to do this when there are multiple web pages that I am using as a reference.

But alt-tab means that you'll have to go through all of your other programs before getting back to the first window.
That's what Alt-Shift-Tab is for. It's the same as Alt tab, but backwords.

I'm done with IE now

IE is more space efficient when using the method I outlined, but it seems so BUGGY on my system. Has anyone else experienced bugginess with IE. Sometimes when I click on the shortcut, IE won't even open! Then I click on it again and another IE process shows up and neither opens. But when I click on Opera, it opens fine.

So I will use either Opera or Crazy Browser/AM Browser (once I figure out which site I'm supposed to download from ... anyone know?)

If you actually showed a little more politeness and respect in your replies, instead of turning everything into a personal attack, it would be possible to have an intelligent conversation with you, but i fear it's not possible :shakehead

First you accuse someone to not reading your posts, while the guy simply abstained to comment because it's unfamiliar with the thing. Now you come out with "if you actually registered what i say", as if everyone is here to read and memorize everything passes on your head. Are you kidding? Are you trolling? Or are you simply... uh... not exactly a genius?

In the 1st case:  In the 2nd, there's nothing i can do, your soul has already choosen a path darker than night and you're lost beyond any possible salvation. In the latter, don't worry because uncle tR1cKy is here to offer assistance:

Let's start with the basics:

English 101 for the Sourons

Excercise 1: explain the difference between "not reading" and "reading but abstaining to comment". Write in plain english and try to avoid spelling mistakes.

And now the advanced course:

How to correct a bad behaviour

Repeat this mantra:

1) people here may have various interests.
2) their interests may not coincide with mine.
3) and so, not everything i say may catch their interest.
4) by consequence, i cannot expect everyone to read carefully and "register" everything i say.
5) it is indeed good practice to not pretend from the others such a thing.

Repeat... let's see... 20 times? Not enough. 100? Hmm... i don't think it's sufficient. Ok, repeat it 150000 times. Ok, it's boring and time-consuming, but it's for your own good.

Ah, it's not necessary to express gratitude. I'm always willful to help. ;)
