This is for the guys at Firaxis. I couldn't find a BtS bug report thread/forum, so I'll drop them here. Read the log text, it doesn't have the city name where it should.

edit: I can't confirm it but someone else suggested that the city in question may not have been visable at that time. That could have something to do with it.

edit2: this bug is reported here.

This is more of an annoyance, if I list the cities by hammers and then change production on one of those cities.. the list of cities resets back to default and I have to then reorder it by hammers again...and make the changes and it resets again...etc

Is anyone else having a problem with "pinging" in multiplayer? The sound doesn't play for me or my teammate.

I'm really surprised by the that bug with the missing city names. That's the kind of thing I see in early versions of mods by amateurs. Seriously, how do they let some of this stuff get through quality control? from my understanding, they pretty much took their time on this expansion so there was no real rush to get it to market.

I am guessing the missing city name is when the event happens in a city you have not found yet (and it turns out a blank instead of a city 'far away' or whatever)

Another bug: I can't get a pic of it, but for some reason I wasn't able to move a scout though a city. It just gave the no go red circle. There was no unit graphics in the city too (but there were units). After a few turns, it fixed itself. Strange.

Good point. I'll keep an eye out for that next time.

Another bug: Sometimes when I click on a city in the city list screen, It selects a unit instead of the city and thus i am unable to change production for that city.. It happend oon a barbarians city I subjugated

Another bug I've experienced so far is I captured the religious palace and it didn't switch over to my state religion (Islam) from the Buddists. I believe its because I had choose religions enabled and I founded Islam with meditation, so the game thought Islam was buddism and didn't switch it over. Also after capturing it, I wasn't included in the leader vote even though I owned the palace through conquest, and neither was the original founder (Tokugawa). Instead the game put up the two civs with the most population points in towns with the religion.

I'm pretty sure thats not how its suppose to work, but I could be wrong. I've only played through one game so far.

There are plenty of minor nuisances. One major is that when you tell a unit to auto explore it doesn't always stop and heal when it's hurt. Another one is that sometimes units get stuck travelling between the same two destinations even though there is plenty of unexplored territory nearby. That never happened pre-BTS.

@troyDoogle, both of those "bugs" you describe have also been in Warlords.

Re selecting the city (for production) instead of occupying units, position the cursor so city name/production display "hilights" (a white "shadow" appears around it).
City listing has always unsorted when production is changed. Changing production may change worker allocation (affecting hammers & commerce, etc.) and rather than check everything for changes, they just unsorted everything. Yes, it's a nuisance, but probably also somewhat faster for all the times nothing is changed.

Not a bug.. the Apostolitic Palace is locked the the religion it was constructed under.. (the state religion the civ who constructed it had at the time of completion)
it will never switch

That's good!

Imagine RL Rome invaded by Indians and the Pope turning Hindu. Somehow I don't see it happening.

(Well neither of it!)

Yes. Didn't they change this before BTS, so that the human wouldn't have an easy way of finding out who his opponents are in the game (before meeting them in person)?

Bug: Military Academy can be built without Military Science, even though it says it can't...

I was just returned a city that I never owned. On the 1000AD scenario, playing as France, London which I never owned was returned to me.

Playing the Fall From Heaven scenario, I found some odd bugs.

First one I'm not sure whether I have no idea how it happened but suddenly my capital city got razed out of nowhere without me doing anything or any enemy units being near my city.

Second one is pretty obvious, as soon as I upgraded my explorer hero to an assassin, he bugged out. I can still move him and order him to attack, but when I select him, the portrait of the unit doesn't change to his but remain the same as the previous unit, I also don't get info screens about odds of attack when I attack with him anymore. His command buttons like attack, go to, etc. doesn't change to his own either, which also means I can't level up him further.

Yep, second. The AI had a Military Academy in one of their cities long before Military Science. I haven't however actually pressed the button to see if I can build it, but the button is available though (not darkend or non existant as would be the case) and yet still says that it requires Military Science. So yeah, definitely a bug.

The player also can build Military Academy since Ancient Age.
