After finishing merge the mod, I got a taste "I want more". I would like suggestions for other leaders who are not part of the triad (Vanilha, Warlords and BTS) but are present in the RI.

Haha! Finally finished it (told you I'd do it)! Here's a large list of actual quotes by Peter the Great of Russia. If you have any questions about context, just send me a PM. The source is from the definitive biography on Peter, PETER THE GREAT by Robert K. Massie, first published in 1980.

Leaders like Hitler, Hirohito, Ho Chi Mihn, Franz Joseph I, Kim Jong-Il, Trudeau, Fidel Castro, and Selassie I are certainly personalities that deserve custom dialog.

No, not really. It's been so long since I posted those I don't remember most of them.

Again, I'm afraid not. I'm guessing "Mein Kampf" would be a good source for Hitler quotes, but beyond that I don't know. Hirohito was a fairly prolific poet, so you could probably dig up some stuff on that.

The following comment was recently posted on the main K-Mod thread:

Caesar says "Senatus Populusque Roma saluto vos" - this is incorrect - Senatus Populusque Roma = Senate and People of Rome [plural] and "saluto vos" = I salute you [singular]. So should be "vos salutamus" = [we] salute you or "vos salutant" [plural].

I don't know Latin, so I've no idea if Fluffy_Rabbit is right or not; I just thought I should mention it here since this is text from ActualQuotes.

(ActualQuotes is used in K-Mod. It was one of the first things I put in my mod, and I reckon it's a very valuable mod component. So thanks!)

I don't know Latin either, but I'm sure he's right. Feel free to change it in your version. The mod's no longer updated on this end (I just keep an eye on the thread).

Hey, Willowmound, do you have any plans to create, or oversee the creation of, an ActualQuotes mod for Civ V? The spoken dialogue doesn't match the text over 75% of the time anyway, so I imagine it would probably take the same amount of work to make.

It's a shame they didn't do multiple leaders per nation, otherwise my Peter the Great quote mining might have gone to some use.

No, I don't have any plans for making an ActualQuotes for V. Even though the spoken and written dialogue rarely match, the fact that they do speak makes a big difference. The text just seems less important and any elaborate quotes would stand out instead of slotting smoothly into the flow of things, which is what I aimed for with the mod for IV. Unfortunately.
