BTS keeps crashing in modern age

For some reason, everytime I play a game starting in ancient and going to mordern, the game always crashes in the year 2011 or somewhere along the lines of 2020. Even when I load my auto save, it crashes in the same year. Can anyone help?

No. It just says an error has happened and it has to shut down and asks me if I want to send a message to the microsoft site.
