[BTS Total Mod] Thomas' War

Just a note to say the mod's running fine for me up to 200 turns or so.

I used the original download and the fixes. :)

Yeah I think the no building bug and the initial GFC error were the main things, both of which can be quickly fixed without really even affecting saved games.
 
Alright, I still think Trudeau would have been better compared to the leaders your put in. That doesn't even look like MacDonald at all! But to each his own I guess. I could always edit my version anyway... awesome mod.

Really?

I thought there was a decent resemblance to him when he was prime minister. A lot more than the Washington model most people use in their mods.

The only thing is the nose could be a little rounder. But in the same cartoony way all the leaderheads resemble their real life counterparts, I thought it was a good pick.
 
Wow that is a really close match. Except the one on the left looks alittle more clean and sober then the one on the right LOL :)
 
Okay, starting tomorrow I'm going to be gone for a day or two. Should be back Thursday or Friday. Please continue to post bugs on the forum. I hope there's nothing game breaking but I will get to them when I get back.

In the meantime, if you're enjoying the mod please give it a good rating and tell people about it. Thomas' War tends to get lost amongst the other more well-known mods on these forums.

I think people tend to look at the young pictures of MacDonald as opposed to the older ones that Adams more closely resembles.

That's probably true but the older one's are when he actually was prime minister!
 
I had a weird thing happen I took over a barberian city and all the sudden every building or wonder I was building the window pops up can not continue building libary or spinx or what ever I was buiding just curious why
 
None of the above(your link though being the exception) I've tried, but I believe I achieved the same goal by simply renaming the python folder pythonbak. Interface works now.

renaming the python folder though, i'm pretty sure none of the mod's python will load which means any building or unit or trait that used python won't work.

interface disappears due to a discrepancy in the python between versions or installations. the link i gave was just how to enable python exceptions which lets you see where that discrepancy was so it could be corrected. otherwise, renaming would get you your interface back because the mod will use the default BTS python but many things in the mod just wont work. Just off the top of my head I know 3 of the traits, the great doctor and statesman, and like half the wonders all use python.
 
Sorry apparently I wasn't patched up. The about page was somewhat missleading.

Thanks turingmachine for helping out with some troubleshooting.

I was made aware of two more bugs. One a potential exploit with Austria's UB and another a bug when trading Libya's UB. I'll correct the python and release a fix. The fix won't affect saved games.
 
Just out of curiosity, in the next version what new Civs would you like to see? This is of course not for a long way off, but when I finally do get around to starting to program it, it would be good to know.

I'd probably add Argentina and Australia to flesh out modern geographic representation. Scythia because they were important enough that I should have added them already. And Elam (which is kinda half programed in already - just commented out) I just didn't have time to finish them this version.

Who else?
