No, I think we should just leave GP out until those 2 issues are resolved.

Also, is anyone else not having the EP listed in the score? I seem just to have the power rating listed. And I should have enough points to see it in the score since there are 2 civs where I can view all there cities.
 
If you're adding hints, I think it would be really cool to add hints about BUG.

  • "Want to whip a building in three turns? Set a reminder with Alt-M and forget about it."
  • "Want to keep your friends close? Turn on Attitude Icons (Ctrl-Alt-O, Scores tab) so you can keep your enemies closer."
We need to start thinking about when we want to release. My time is far more limited now that I've started a new job, so the key is prioritizing features.

Two major things on my plate are PLE and CDA (icon headers, hover help). PLE had issues when I tried it alone (posted previously), whereas I can copy code from MSDA to get CDA's features. I can also tackle CDA in chunks -- PLE is a big mess of code that touches CvMainInterface in many places.

I'm in favor or punting GP mods until the issues are nailed down more thoroughly. If nothing else, push it to flavor mod -- or had that already been decided?

Edit: Forgot my main point. We need to decide on either a release target date or target a feature set. To me it's more important to have a solid set of features, but I understand that some people might get antsy if we don't release soon. Anyway, think about in which camp you sit and we'll go from there.
 
No, we pulled it from the flavor Mod. To many issues. Even though this will have a flavor component I still want to keep the Unaltered aspect intact, and knowing that a civ got a GP is to much of a give away.

Oh yeah, I was planning on adding BUG hints to it as well. There are to types... general hints, and interface hints. It seems to pull one then the other, so want to make sure I put them in the right spots.
 
Sorry if it is a stupid question, but...Is it for version 3.02 of BTS, 3.03, or...?
Version 3.03 gives people ctd in civipedia and screwed battle animations, so I use 3.02 for the time being. Just want to know if it works good in this version.
Looks good this mod :) I definetely will be using.

it is a message on a russian forum with the very last version of the mod.
There are 2 screenshots with:
(1)GreatPeople and (5)GreatGeneral Counters, (2) Next/Previous cities buttons, (3) if AI wants to trade a technology, money or money per turn, (4) relation towards player, (other screenshot) important information if domination victory is enabled.

It'll be very nice to see all these features (and more) in the BUG Mod...
 
I just tried 0.14, and I have no interface (as if I had pressed Alt-I). Is this a known problem? I didn't see anyone post about it here. I don't have any other modded files installed. I'm running BtS v3.02 in case that matters.

As already posted here if you use the installer you have to add manually the ColorUtil.py from the svn.

I included this mod in a very early post in this thread (don't expect people to remember everything I say or to be able to find it). Sorry about the BLAH - just thought that we had already picked all of these features up and included them. I think that we should look at this mod again.

So far this is working on every version of BTS. If you notice an error on 3.02, please let us know!
 
What happened to the flavor directories in the repository?
