BUG Mod installation problem

I had BTS and Bug running fine when my vid card went south.
Running XP 64 bit with Geforce GT 430 vid card.
As part of understanding issue I decided to get DVD version of CIV (had a Download version that had always had a small python problem).
I deleted Bug Mod and Civ IV.
Reinstalled CIv IV (took forever off the DVD).
The issue is Bug Mod.
I follow thread in forums to Bug Mod page (http://civ4bug.sourceforge.net/BUGMod.html).
download the 3.13 Mod and get a zip file called BUG_SVN.
there the problem starts.
when i unzip it says it is corrupted and I get these two files.
CvGameCoreDLL.dll
BUG_SVN.7z

So I am stuck.
What am I doing wrong??

The current version of BUG Mod is 4.4. I don't know where you found that address for that old version. Here is the URL for the current version: http://sourceforge.net/projects/civ4bug/

Just click the green "Download BUG Mod 4.4 Archive" button. I hope that will solve your problem.

That did it.
It wanted me to download some other unrelated bloatware of some sort but after i dealt with that it worked great.

If I could ask one other question.
Should I download the 6.1.9 (I think thats what it is called) Patch for Civ IV?
if so, where could I find it?

I assume that you mean the 3.19 patch. Yes. Download and install that. It fixes some bugs in CIV BTS. It also makes a few minor changes that you won't even notice. You will find a download link for it on the "Patch and Update" page of CFF. You can go directly there from the drop down menu "Civ4" at the top of this page. Don't choose the Firaxis site to download from. It no longer exists. (the site page, not the company.) Choose one of the mirrors.

Downloaded bugmod 4.4 and somehow screwed up my BTS game. Cannot see city screens, city build list look into city info, ALT+CTRL+O not working, no tech tree etc. etc.. Obviously did something wrong on installing bugmod. Should I uninstall BTS and Bugmod and reload?
Any advice appreciated.

A possible thing is if you are trying to run BUG mod in CustomAssets and another mod at the same time. BUG mod is not intended for that, resulting in various screens, features, etc disappearing.

Do you have any non-English characters in your user name? Like á or í or ó for instance?
