I'm not real sure how that works to be honest. How many buildings do you make for an era set? It seems more complicated than simply making 7-10 buildings and skinning them. I've tried in the past and couldn't get them in game. Maybe I'm missing something?

Maybe you might want to look in the art files.

The art files have X number of buildings, but depending on how many buildings you actually build while playing the city set evolves. It's quite confusing or else I'm sleep deprived.

Aren't the files in the Art/Structures/Cities folder? I seem to remember the city sets in there

I'm finding it isn't as easy as that...

Here's an in game screenshot of a city with several "sci-fi" buildings (except the water tower). I removed every thatch building and changed the city plot terrain to that white sand look. That can be further changed. The yellow circled building has been altered to look less ancient since I can't find a way to remove it completely yet with CTDs.

I think that's a temporary thing.

I got rid of the "tile" that the ancient city set had. I can paint it any color, most likely choice would be whatever or most prevalent color is in the mod.

I think silver, glossy look would make it look very much like a futuristic city

For as simple as that model is I was shocked at how well it looks in the white tile.

I found a pic of a secret "lab" that was tucked away on the moon so I made this building to act as a space library/lab/science building.

One last building for the day, a futuristic subway ala the SMAC maglev system. I have no idea if we need it, but we might.
