One green and one brown bulldozer, based upon my original unit, however, slightly smaller. Each comes with two work animatioins, one pushing dirt and one pushing gravel. Unfortunately Bryce is acting very stangely with the old files I have and won't allow me to manipulate the driver without an enormous amount of distortion to the graphics. Therefore I had to cut corners on the death/capture animation. The driver simply dissappears from the vehicle. I apologize but that is about all I can do with the driver. It should be a servicable death for most scenarios. :(

You have him grouped rather than linked right? Bryce hates it when you rotate groups around.

Thank you very much Gary. :) :thanx:

Yeah, I have the driver as one group and several other groups in the unit. Everytime I rotage the driver or try to manipulate him in some way Bryce goes whacko.

Exactly, don't GROUP. Use the little chain Icon to link all the other parts of the driver to one central object.. then just rotate that object. Think of it as a skeleton with a heirarchy of bones.. Bryce likes that. It doesn't like rotating groups.

Wyrm, is that how you make tank treads rotate?? Ive been having the worst time animating tanks that I gave up...

PS sorry to minor thread jack, but it seemed relevant

I don't know how Wyrm does it, but I use an actual track TEXTURE, with a fairly high bump-map setting, so it LOOKS 3D... I then animate the texture, which, IMO, is MUCH easier than animating 200 or so rectangles... I could see about pulling it from the GrossPanzer or the Tesla Tank and sending you the animated version of the texture to use (or just upload the run animation file so you can se how I did it).

*cough* pokes the last line of his siggy *cough*

Hikaro: yes please...I learned alot for the last animated model you posted...
Wyrm: thanks...nuff sed

sorry for the minor threadjack...nice dozers!! they work well as my captured modern worker, but they need more animations please :) maybe one where they just move forward and flatten a road? or one rolling over a tree? if not, they work well enough...thanks :)

Workers don't die too often anyway so should be good. :)
