I think you are the GMT -7, so maybe you can step in as replacement..But, maybe the best will be to organize new game...

Sorry I cannot help on the technical issue we are facing.
Getting a new player is fine with me, but at this point we may as well restart.

Yes, I am at GMT -7. I'm a stay-at-home dad so I could play my turns at pretty much any time of day.

Sorry. Hate to be tech ignorant, but could someone please tell me how to find out what my SMTP Server is? I didn't know how to find it so I tried to pass along the game as an attachment through e-mail and apparently that didn't work.

Still didn't work. Not sure how to find SMTP. Sent you a reply email with enough info to properly send saves maunually. good luck

your outgoing mail server (or SMTP) can be found threw your Inter net service provider (or ISP) for instance my ISP is comcast, so by doing quick google search for "comcast smtp" i find that it is (for me) smtp.comcast.net what is your ISP? try doing a google search, and if that fails try calling them and asking. also if you have email threw your ISP (if the email address is the one you got when you sighned up with them) we could check your outlook or outlook express for your smtp.

one last thing on this matter, not all ISP's allow you to send email's that are unsecured. and Civ 4 send (threw the game) unsecured emails. in short you may not even be able to use the ingame send thing.
