Buying Spaceship parts with gold?

First a more general question - does game speed affect purchase prices?

Second, around how much gold does it cost to buy each part on quick pace? Isnt it around 2000?

Third, does Big Ben affect the purchase price of spaceship parts? Also what about that commerce policy that lowers purchasing prices?

Just to clear any confusion, Im referring to the Freedom tenet that allows you to buy parts with gold.

Big Ben and unlocking Mercantilism both reduce the price of SS parts. On standard the reduced price will be 1800 gold.

I play on Epic and it is more expensive. I don't recall the exact cost but I want to say in the $4000 range.
