C&C Generals

lol, I dont know what ya'll are talking about, I don't even think I have the system required ( I have PCeleron, 366mghz, and 160mb ram, plus a moderate video card) and it runs smoothly.

Excellent game!

 If it runs smoothly on that, it could definetly go on my compter.

I'm going to check out the site for system requirements...

i think you should get your self a good vid card man it makes all the difference int he world for playing games.

Got a new computer a few weeks ago and been playing generals to death - this game is awesome! Worth giving up many hygienic habits for. :)

Played the US a hell of a lot - beat the campaign on brutal and can beat the computer 1 on 1 on brutal level, will be heading online soon, and might even make a bit of a playguide if I can be bothered heh.

All hail pathfinders!

Finally it seems that game will never be balanced. War3 is the perfection of 4 balanced races. In C&C it's no surprise everybody play Chinese. They're way too powerful. Even the US are not that powerful in fact. Even their ion cannon has a too high cost/efficiency ratio. I miss the 1st C&C which was probably the most balanced game ever.

The Original C&C was by far the most balanced. Then they brought out the original Red Alert....

Balance was never heard from for years to come.

It's not the vid cards so much as the drivers, just downloaded some detonator drivers and my god, the game is just 'schwinging' along.

I really hate the rangers' flashbangs.
You just can't put soldiers in bunkers/buildings without support by a pathfinder or gatling cannon while playing against the americans...

They must've killed more than 20 troops because my gatling cannons weren't focused on the little rangers running towards my base...

Even their ion cannon has a too high cost/efficiency ratio

I don't agree with this at all. (Especially compared to the other two superweapons.) I frequently destroy property worth $10.000 in a single sweep.

I like this game, I just think it's incredibly easy. It took me weeks or months to beat the other C&C games, but I beat this one in a matter of days.
