Ukraine strikes back:

3:02 p.m Kiev: More than 1000 Russian soldiers killed According to their own statements, the Ukrainian armed forces have already killed more than 1,000 Russian soldiers. The Ukrainian army claimed that Russia had never suffered such heavy losses in such a short period of time in any conflict. "Russian mothers are sending their sons to certain death because the Ukrainian armed forces are holding the lines and will defend their country against the occupiers," the statement said. The Russian Ministry of Defense, however, had announced that there were no casualties. The information has not been independently verified. Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops with heavy military equipment moved into Kiev to defend the capital. "The city is in defense mode," said Mayor Vitali Klitschko, according to the Unian agency. Gunfire and explosions in some areas meant Russian "!Saboteurs" would be taken out. "The situation is difficult, but we believe in and support our armed forces," said Klitschko. The city authorities called on residents to turn off surveillance cameras and hang up so that Russian troops could not see Ukrainian positions.

3:56 p.m China sides with Russia on the UN Security Council According to the Moscow Presidential Office, Chinese head of state Xi Jinping has promised Russian President Vladimir Putin support in the UN Security Council in the conflict with Ukraine. Xi respects Russia's actions in Ukraine and is ready for close coordination and mutual support in the body, the Kremlin said after the two politicians spoke on the phone. Russia and China are permanent members of the UN Security Council and can veto decisions. Chinese state television previously reported that Xi had told Putin that the People's Republic was supporting Russia's efforts to resolve the Ukraine crisis through dialogue.

4:43 p.m France apparently has an elite unit in Kiev According to security sources, France has deployed an elite police unit in the Ukrainian capital to protect the embassy in Kiev. The AFP news agency learned from security circles that it was a group of eight from the elite unit of the gendarmerie (GIGN), who had been in the embassy since Wednesday. These are there now in addition to the five GIGN members who are constantly on site. The operation comes at a time when France is also concerned about the safety of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Zelenskyy said he would remain in place, despite being the "number one target" of the advancing Russian troops. "We are ready to help him if necessary," French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told radio station France Inter. Le Drian did not want to say whether this help would also include taking the president out of the country.

17:00 o'clock Kremlin offers Ukraine talks According to Russia, Ukraine has submitted an offer for negotiations in the Belarusian capital Minsk. According to the Interfax agency, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said so in Moscow. Instead, the Ukrainian side suggested Poland's capital, Warsaw, as the venue for the negotiations. According to the Kremlin, Belarusian ruler Alexander Lukashenko is ready to create the conditions for a meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations. Putin spoke to Lukashenko about the need for a place with guarantees for the security of the negotiations.

5:31 p.m Ukrainian border guards killed after insult According to information from Kiev, 13 Ukrainian border guards in the Black Sea were killed by the Russian military after insulting Russian troops. The crew of a Russian warship called on the Snake Island garrison near the mouth of the Danube to surrender, said adviser to Ukraine's interior minister, Anton Herashchenko. The border guards then radioed back: "Russian warship, fudge you!" The warship then fired at the island. "13 Ukrainian border guards died," Herashchenko said. The government in Kiev celebrated the spirit of resistance and courage of those killed. A Ukrainian engineer was also hailed as a hero. According to official information, he was preparing to blow up a bridge near the Crimean peninsula. When the Russian troops advanced, he was no longer able to get to safety - and was blown up with the bridge. The Ministry of Defense in Kiev said on Friday that he had enabled his unit to withdraw in an orderly manner and prepare for defense.

4:14 p.m Putin's Presidential Office website is offline The website of the Russian Presidential Office is no longer accessible. When calling up the Kremlin address kremlin.ru, an error message appears. The media had previously reported on cyber attacks on various government and state media websites. The hacker collective Anonymous had also reported the unavailability of sites such as the Russian Ministry of Defense via Twitter.

:crazyeye:

3:54 p.m 25,000 automatic weapons distributed to citizens in Kiev In order to ward off the expected large-scale Russian attack on the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, the authorities say they have distributed numerous weapons to the residents. A total of 25,000 automatic weapons and ten million cartridges were issued, Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyj said in a published video. Anti-tank weapons were also handed out. "Kiev will defend itself," said Monastyrskyj. He said he was proud when he saw people defending their towns, villages, roads and homes. "They organize themselves, there is no looting or robbery."

Womans building molotov cocktails, civilians taking up arms, they fight back! That will be not so easy as putin hoped.

Funker530 reporting live mostly every day now:

5:03 p.m Apparently German arms deliveries in preparation according to exclusive information from the ARD capital studio, Germany is preparing a delivery of 400 Panzerfaust's Anti-Tank to Ukraine via third countries. So far, Germany has refused to supply deadly weapons to Ukraine.

5:29 p.m Worldwide demonstrations against the war. People in many countries around the world are taking to the streets against the war in Ukraine. In a sea of blue and yellow flags in Ukraine's national colors, they urge their governments to do more to support the country. In Tokyo, the demonstrators call for the exclusion of Russia from the UN Security Council. Thousands - including many Ukrainians living abroad - are also taking to the streets in London, Athens, Helsinki, Madrid, Milan, Bern, Berlin and Munich. In Geneva, demonstrators march in front of the United Nations headquarters and demand Ukraine's immediate admission to NATO.

Time to hold together west! The free countrys will hold together, putin failed to devide the west.

EDIT:

7:02 p.m Federal government approves delivery of guns to Ukraine. The federal government has approved Estonia for the delivery of several artillery pieces from old GDR stocks to the Ukraine. The dpa news agency learned this from government circles. In the 1990s, the Bundeswehr first delivered the howitzers to Finland under certain conditions and later passed them on to Estonia. The treaty between Finland and Estonia stipulates that Germany must agree to a transfer. This is a 122 mm caliber D-30 howitzer that was developed in the Soviet Union in the mid-1950s. The former National People's Army of the GDR had more than 400 of the guns. The howitzers, which weigh more than three tons and have a barrel almost five meters long, can be used to shell enemy troops or tanks at a distance of up to around 15 kilometers. The D-30 model is still part of the equipment in many states, including Ukraine.

7:10 p.m Germany delivers weapons from Bundeswehr stocks to Ukraine. Germany is now supplying weapons from the Bundeswehr stocks to Ukraine. As Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced on Twitter, the Ukrainian armed forces are being supported with 1,000 anti-tank weapons and 500 "Stinger" surface-to-air missiles.

++ NATO moves rapid reaction force to Romania ++ As of: 02/26/2022 7:21 p.m NATO moves forces of the rapid reaction force NRF to the Ukrainian neighboring country Romania.

Russia State-Owned News Site Tass Hacked With ‘Putin Makes Us Lie’ Message. :goodjob::goodjob::goodjob:

Screen_Shot_2022-02-28_at_11.24.36_kbfzbg

"People logging on to Russian state-owned news agency Tass to get the Kremlin’s version of events in Ukraine got a shock early Monday. Instead of the latest lines from the Kremlin, the site showed an anti-war message that condemned President Vladimir Putin for forcing Russian journalists to lie. “Dear citizens. We urge you to stop this madness, do not send your sons and husbands to certain death. Putin makes us lie and puts us in danger,” the hacked site read. “In a few years we will live like in North Korea. What is it for us? To put Putin in the textbooks? This is not our war, let’s stop it!” It’s not clear who changed the site, but an Anonymous logo followed the message and it ended with the sign-off: “This message will be deleted, and some of us will be fired or even jailed. But we can’t take it anymore... Indifferent journalists of Russia.” After the hack was noticed on social media, the Tass website became unavailable. The Moscow Times reports that several Russian news outlets were hit by the hack."

Among other things, the state agency Tass and the online presence of the newspapers "Isvestia" and "Kommersant" were affected. A banner of the hacker collective "Anonymous" appeared on the "Izvestia" website. "We urge you to stop this madness, do not send your sons and husbands to certain death. Putin makes us lie and puts us in danger," said the hackers' call, referring to Russian President Vladimir Putin who ordered the attack on Ukraine.

REPORT - Day 4: Ukraine's army invalidated the Russian invasion plan

Putin loosing more support from china as it looks like:

6:52 p.m China warns of Cold War China spoke to the United Nations in favor of a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine and warned of a new Cold War. "Ukraine should serve as a communication bridge between East and West and not as a front line of rivalry between great powers," Chinese Ambassador to the UN Zhang Jun told an emergency session of the General Assembly. An atmosphere for direct talks would have to be created, and tensions should not be exacerbated. "The Cold War ended long ago. The Cold War mentality based on bloc confrontation should be abandoned."
