C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

Restart the game completely before entering the WB, after loading a game go directly into the WB, WB should work then otherwise try a earlyer save or something wrong on your side.

And make sure to disable viewort in BUG ii options before entering WB.

Also forcing peace in WB is lame cheating. Try to survive as it is.

If you changed the map/scenario you may have broken it or opend memory leaks by using bugged options, game the scenario as i set it without changing it, then it should work.

Also your non mod civs may cause problems or bugs maybe.

Which options are considered "bugged," so I know to avoid them in the future??

So, I went ahead and loaded up your v5.3, changing none of the settings/options, and after a couple of turns, tried to get into WB.

Still got the MAF.

Any ideas please? Thanks!

Maybe your computer cant handle it? Go into WB after restarting the game completely without turning, disable viewport in BUG, should work then. If you edit the UEM scenario file, get 5.4 and try again without editing the file.

(Game needs to be restarted when you disable viewport in BUG)

Also update to latest svn.

@Thunderbrd @Toffer90 These bit darker lines on the right side of the map still there for years now, maybe someone wants to look into it, these plots work correctly but maybe there is a hidden graphical bug in engine that cause a memory leak.

2 Screenies:

Ok i found the bug, that happens somehow if you have a hill or peak plot on x=205 line, i will fix that now but looks like a engine problem.

This bug is caused if there is any other plot type then grassland on x=205 line, so i dont think i can fix it all because it is a engine bug.

Bizarre - and entirely beyond me. Toffer's time is limited and he's working at some of the most complicated buggery we've had (the things that got me to stop and bow out of coding for a while) so give him some time.

Read the edit up there...

"This bug is caused if there is any other plot type then grassland on x=205 line, so i dont think i can fix it all because it is a engine bug."

Hmm some other lines work with ocean plots, is a bit strange...

Edit:

If there is no grasslandplot on x=204 and x=205 then the black line is caused. Cant fix it all because of engine bug.

Well only a graphical glitch, but still sucks a bit.

I can fix some but not all because the lines are moving up and to the next ocean/coast plots on map if ther is no grasslandplot and ocean needed, is a engine problem.

Well, that's what's odd about that - rather than being unfixable, it indicates it should be something one can diagnose, except yeah either its a graphic engine bug and we CAN'T or there are some places we CAN do some things but it's outside of my knowledge what we could even do. It's just... bizarre.

Is 205 the highest X coordinate in your map?

With X wrapping you get bad graphical glitches by having land and water (coast) meet between 0 and maximum X coordinates, at the map edge wrap that is.
Perhaps there's some similar graphical glitch if hill meet a non-hill plot at the wrap edge of the map?

232 is the highest, this glitch is running to where the map ends. So wrap of map is not touched, i fixed it in new update as good as possible, if you want to look into it look at north japan, there still a bit more black line.

Releasing new update in some minutes...

Edit:

Changing plot 231 and 0 to ocean dont fix that, somehow its caused if no grassland plot type is on 204 and 205.

I have done all the above things.

I'm thinking it's because I am playing via WINE on Linux, I know it's caused some graphics related crashes before.

Try the scenario as it is, so less bugs and MAF's. Hard, but try to survive.

I did that. Loaded 5.5. Tried to go into WB, got a MAF.

The game plays, I just can't get into WB

Dont go into WB, game it as it is and try to survive. (Changing stuff may cause a lot of problems) Alternatively get Win 10, but maybe something other is wrong in your install or setup.

Well, I now would have to call my Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, but it still can benefit from two Natural Wonders, lol.
I do like the way you are editing your map in general, of course.
Great job.:goodjob:

Yeah. There are some places in the world where two wonders are possible in one city if you can get them... leave the egyptians there and we'll see if they or you get the wonders.

Like I said before:
If someone wants to play your map without editing it, then Egypt, Babylon, and some other neighbors should prioritize building a Jerusalem that gets benefits from two Wonders as soon as possible.
Can you hint what other Wonders can be combined into one city?

In case someone is interested, here's v.5.5 with [Israel] replacing [Native America] aka [Sioux] as PLAYER=36.
I used to eliminate [Egypt] as PLAYER=5 previously, since it wasn't even much of a change map-wise, but maybe it's more fun to leave it as a neighboring challenge, lol.
The file is named that way because I also make versions like Empty (meaning, no civs at all) and Solo_Israel (meaning, only Israel alone) for my own fun, lol.
Ah, forgot to say that I also edited the OPTIONS to suit my own gameplay style.
