C3C crashes, PTW doesn't.

Problem:
PTW works perfectly. The C3C files are all copied from a different PC (It works there properly). For some reason, whenever I open this supposedly-working C3C, my stupid XP system says it "encountered a problem and needs to close".
What do I do?! Thanks in advance

Windows and its registry being the way it is, you can't just copy files from one machine to another. You will have to install C3C to the new machine to make it work.

This doesn't seem to be the case for PTW! What is the difference?
