I think what he's asking for is a random game with a scenario's units and techs. I don't think that's possible, but you might check the customization forum for other mod packs with additional units & techs.

Yes Denyd, that is what I meant. I understand now how the tech trees/city improvements/units are specific to the conquest. My mistake and thanks for clarification.

Yaffle.

I got three questions as I am playing the game:

1. I once launched an ICBM on a stack of over 20 workers (just for fun) and ALL of them died. I thought I heard that there is only a 50% chance of killing a unit when hit with an ICBM. Is that so?

2 After that ICBM hit the ground, 9 tiles are polluted. But after the rest of my workers clean up the pollution, the foods, shields, and commerce that the tiles used to provide did not appear until a few turns later and they are reduced. What is this about?

3. Last but not least, can the shore, sea, or ocean tiles ever get damaged or polluted? I played for so long but I have not seen pollution in the sea (I wonder how the workers will have to clean them up... maybe riding a galley out there :))

Thnx for any help =]

1) Apparently, all workers are always killed.
2) The nukes destroy worker improvements on the tiles and may change the tiles to a different terrain type (as global warming does).
3) Water tiles do not become polluted although global warming may turn coastal tiles into land.

That is so sad for the workers... =[ but how about the other units, like ground, air, or even sea units? Do they have 50% chance of being killed or boom and their doom days will come?

But after the rest of my workers build the exact same improvements on the tiles, the tiles significantly reduced their production amount. They are stilll the same terrain. I wonder if the pollution somehow destroyed some food, commerce, and shield???

But thnx a lot for your points

ICBM will reduce hitpoints by half with each strike. Workers will be killed as you would need 3 HP's to survive.

If you strike three times all units are killed, that is all moveable units, hence ICBM's are not destroyed.
