C3C PBEM : AoD based on the Age of Discovery scenario

To all: I finally got my computer up and running. It had a problem that made the computer constantly reboot and there was nothing I could do. I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall Windows XP. I am currently downloading all patches, drivers, and reinstalling all my programs. I should be able to play again real soon. Thanks for being patient.

Sorry, but could someone put here the mini-map of the game? i am very curious to see how is the new World divided between French, english, portugese, spanish, dutch... and if the indians are surviving or not.

New turn started

@ Senturus : sorry too late foe me to take a screenshot this turn but :
- Indians have survived pretty well. Aztecs are actually human-played and fare well and are allied with me and at war against Portuguese.
Apart from that no other war against natives yet that I think of.
- But it is true "barbarian" natives have been beefed up a lot which made settling on the continent dangerous (ask Dogboy ! aka England).
- Portuguese have the South American coast from Venezuela to Brazil. England the US coast down to Texas, the Dutch Canada and going inland for furs. France is mostly in the Carribeans and I (Spain) lost my colonies in America due to wars and I only have one small naval base in Kongo.

Thank you Loulong. An Aod pbem hast just been launched in a french forum, so i was curious. This game seems very interesting for pbems.

Peace between England and Spain at last (the worst is nobody knows how it started !).

Tis true. We don't know how it got started. I'm glad we made peace though. It looks like it was becoming a tit-for-tat war and neither of us would have made any progress. This brings up a point. We still don't know how this war got started. One turn I notice he has attacked me and I asked him why and he said we were already at war. *I went back and re-loaded the save and sure enough we were already at war. So I went back and re-loaded the prior save and sure enough we were already at war. So I went back and re-loaded the save prior to that one and we were not at war. There was also no Spanish units around me that I could see, and I didn't lose any units that turn. It's possible that LouLong went into diplomacy to declare war on me but I don't think he did that because he was just as surprised as I was that we were at war. The only thing I can think of is it's another PBEM bug.

*When I re-loaded the old saves it wasn't to play them since the game had already been sent. There was nothing I could have gained from re-loading these old saves so I don't feel I did anything wrong.

Yeah! You stupid "over-the-big-pond" powers stop quibbling and attack the Portuguese, before they run away with this thing! I don't know how many countless Jag Warrior units have fallen in my battle with the Purple Plunderers, but even my limitless supply is now somewhat limited.

By the way, I do know how THAT war got started. He attacked and razed one of my cities, without even bothering to declare war first!

what? declaring war to these red-faced monkeys with chicken tales on their heads?! we have lots of more important things to do! and don't call your villages a "cities" - it's making me lough! :D we don't even bother fighting with aztecs anymore - we let our fellow incas deal with them

The civilized, cultured and holy Spanish are most distressed by the rude language used by the evil Portuguese about our bronze-skin half human brothers... ;-)
