I thought the point of Privateers was to attack and not have anyone know who hit them...

... Technically I did not have to tell Akots that my Privateer attacked, defeated and enslaved his ship of the line because Privateers do not have official "nationalities." Sorry if you think this is unfair... However, if there are future attacks by my privateers, I will not be reporting them since they are not "national" ships. I also ask others in this PBEM or watching if they agree with Lou Long and my own opinions?

It would be OK if you want to go undetected but you have parked your Man of War on top of that Privateer which makes it quite obvious. How am I supposed to know what was the attacker then?

IMO, don't park your ships on top and it would be fine then.

I agree with Akots that you only have the right to 'not post' a combat loss if you leave the offender open to counterattack. If the privateer is under one of your nationality's warships, then it would be obvious to any observer that that is where the ship went. Thus...privateers that attack from or retreat to national ships after attacking must post their attacks.

Turn sent to London. There has been a major battle in the suburbs of Florence which was a great victory for Imeprial troops and resulted in death of 16 conscript Redcoats and one Household cavalry and capture of 9 grand batteries of Austrian, French, and British origin.

Turn sent to Spain whom my only fighting was with. A battle by Lisbon as well as a naval battle involving a Man-O-War, a captured Man-O-War and 2 of his Frigates by Sicicily.

@Everyone: Guys, lets move this. Understandably, there is stuff happening here and there all the time. But the game should be moving. And sitting chronically on it for 3-4 days playing one turn is a sign on a disease called "PBEM constipation" which usually leads to worsening condition of "acute drop off" and the only treatment is amputation and insertion of a "replacement". There is also stickied Temporary Leave thread. We are not pigs and should try to treat each other as human beings. There is enough scam in RL for that.

I got and sent it on 1 or 2 days ago. My battle report was short as I whacked only 1 consript Grenzer. I am sorry, I forgot to place in this thread as I was missing some time.

Honestly, for being in 9 PBEMs, I think I play one almost 9 days from the previous turn... WW2 Global is actually moving the fastest right now... We do need to speed things up!

I'm in 13 currently, 14 if the one really isn't dead (it pops up occasionally) and have signed up for another Rise of Rome game. I seldom have more than 5 in a day, most of the time only 2 or 3 in a day...

Results were against the Spanish in the Meditternean by Italy...

Man-O-War def. Frigate and causes enslaved Man-O-War. Enslaved Man-O-War def. other Frigate and enslaves it also...
