C3C PBEM : Arcole - Napoleonic scenario-based PBEM

The end of the year of our Lord, 1804 has come upon the great Russian empire. This year saw the demise of Rcoutme II and Vlad the Mad. Rcoutme III has captured two Prussian cites on the Baltic Sea as punishment for the invasion by that nation of our friends (once enemies) the Swedes. There are rumors that the British have sent two generals to Danzig in an attempt to retake the city before Christmas in January. The Tsar has decided that the Prussians have suffered enough and offered a truce to King Portuga...but with the understanding that the British armies are to go west, not east.

Annick and Marina are currently being courted by some displaced Prussian nobles, at the acquiesance of the tsar. Vanya, who is only 15 anyways, is studying politics hard...perhaps she will be the successor to Rcoutme III, unless he gets married, of course. The Rcoutme girls seem in good spirits and the war seems to be going well....or at least not too badly.

Meanwhile...the puny Russian North Navy has disappeared. Asked where the ships went, one sailor responed, "I don't know sir. They were here yesterday, I swear! All of a sudden, they just disappeared from view!"

Since Random Fan is leaving...I think we have to wait for BKGreatWarNut to get the save...

Marina sounds interesting to the newly crowned British King! Besides, Danzig will soon be cut off from the Russian reinforcements.

Also sent peace to Austria...unsure if I was supposed to do that, mostly on accident.

No battle to report, just destruction of roads by Milan.

Would someone please send a start-up e-mail???

Thanks,
BK

NOTE: Turn not sent...awaiting an e-mail cause I accidentally deleted Random Fan's e-mail about the game...

OK, let's move it. The French troops are eager to fight. Over two weeks is more than enough for a break.

@BkGreatWarnut: I do have your e-mail from Random fan. And we have some border disputes unsettled. :)

So Austria and I are at peace?

Umm...could someone still send a start-up e-mail for diplomatic negotiations. I have to try to patch somethings up that my predeccesor tried to do, but failed and also have some plans of my own...

Thanks,
BK

All civs are in post number 1 in this thread. About patching: make sure you are playing it on 1.22 patch. :)

I still could use everyone's e-mail lists...so someone please e-mail all the e-mails.

Also, I am on 1.22 and have been for quite some time (every PBEM I've ever played)!

Thanks,
BK

GpS. I have since received confirmation from RomeotheMonk as well.

@BK: Technically, I did betray you, but don't worry, I'll just go after cities that don't matter...

I think I may have cleared that up via e-mail...

Lifeguard def. 1 Cav (Spa) approaching Lisbon.

The new leader of Britain is for the most part still consolidating his power, but will be sending out new diplomatic proposals and ideas over the weekend (cause he also has a TE 100 class to attend this morning at 10:30). :)

BK, I cannot send emails or PM's to you from your public profile, which is quite annoying. However, my email is in my sig, so you can send me a mail there.

I will make my profile e-mail and pm friendly...

Played and sent to London.

Please, I would like to remind everyone that any battles must be accompanied by report to the opponent. I have not received one from Britain. @BK: Please, in the future make sure you send one. This is the sign of respect for your enemies as well as GPS or posting in the thread.

Played and sent onward...

Also, I did accidentally post the requested battle log in the Edesse thread, after which Lou Long made a very good point.

Technically I did not have to tell Akots that my Privateer attacked, defeated and enslaved his ship of the line because Privateers do not have official "nationalities." Sorry if you think this is unfair... However, if there are future attacks by my privateers, I will not be reporting them since they are not "national" ships. I also ask others in this PBEM or watching if they agree with Lou Long and my own opinions?
