sunk 1 Spanish plunderer near Antwerp and do some bombarding at the frontline with the effect of demoralizing the spanish bastards

In the forest between Bourges and Lyon, League forces attacked French retreating hoping to capture enemy bombards. This was not to be.

The forces of The League started with a bombardment of Tours and soon after the city walls were destroyed. After that a charge was ordered and the city taken:
3/3 Rider vs 3/3 Rider (5/5)
7/10 Army (4/10) vs 3/3 Reiter
3/3 Musketman vs 1/3 Musketman (1/3)
3/3 Musketman (5/5) vs 1/3 Musketman
Then, after a unsuccessfull bombardment on Chatelleraut the troops were ordered to attack nontheless and scale the walls. This they managed to do and the city was taken.

3/3 Landsknecht (4/5) vs 2/3 Militia
3/3 Rider vs 3/5 Reiter (3/5)
4/4 Pikeman (4/4) vs 3/5 Reiter
After the capture of Chatelleraut it was decieded that the army should press on, which they did and were able to capture Poiters before consolidating their position.

A cavalry-attack was also made on La Rochelle to test the defence there before infantry and artillery were moved into position.

In the south The League awaits the French's next move. It seems the king is determined to waste another mercenary army against the brave defenders of Avignon.

The Irish had lost 2 gallowglasses against a rider and a third one killed the other rider.
