Anyway, I agree with that : no "abandon city". Scorched earth tactic should be limited to destroying all the buildings of a city

@Steph. They will never make it to Moscow with their current Napoleon. Moreover, it was not razed, just a few parts of the city were burned down. Can be considered as destruction of all improvements.

Yep and Kotuzov did not wipe out the entire population, just the infrastructures. The civ 3 engine is limited since you can replenish troops within any city (unlike SSS with its needed support !).

OK I don't like to do that but since most players here are fast players and that wwhill delayed us quite often and even now, without any official notice (it is not that hard to keep everyone informed), he is replaced (France) by Caesarian (punkofthewest AT hotmail DOT com). Please send him a mail so that he gets your address and to inform him of current relationships.

I am not happy to have to drop a player but this PBEM could and should run a lot faster and wwhill obviously does not care so much informing us (he only told Steph he was going on vacations) so I made the choice. I hope you guys agree with that decision.

Well, perhaps the fact that both of Frances' starting Armies are now "pushing up tulips" near Amsterdam may have something to do with his lack of enthusiasm!
