C3C PBEM : Midway - WWII pacific scenario PBEM

In China:
Nanning was overrun and we captured the airfield on the Burma
road.

The Battle of Sarmi (in New Guinea)
5 Commonwealth units advanced on Sarmi, just as an
amphibious landing force happened to be passing by. After
an air/naval bombardment the force was attacked from 2
directions and wiped out.

Oblivion. I have tried to contact him but he is probably away. I am a bit p***ed of because I got one replacement in Pangea who sent him the game then bang the game is still stalled !!!

Anyway hope he will be back soon.
 
Hello. I cannot get to this for a couple of days because my hard drive is dead. I am on a different computer right now, the first chance i have had to use a computer with the web. I will let you know when i can go again. Damn hard drive.

This counts for all my PBEMs with you Lou. I am very sorry about them all, and especially Pangea with those circumstances. I am a bit annoyed as well :(
 
No pb. I was just really annoyed because of the timing but I figured something had happened. Hope you solve that very quickly !!!
 
Solved. Thankfully it went quite well.
Of course my e-mail is vamoosed with the rest of my hard drive.
Can it be resent?
 
Sorry Coletite, i recieved the save but something has happened to it on the way. It is a 'file' not a .SAV, and C3C won't read it.

Can you resend it (again) ?
 
Hmm.. upon closer examination it turns out that Civ didn't save it as a .SAV file. It has a different icon then the rest of my save games. Not sure what's up with that. I've got to get to bed now, but I'll replay the turn tomorrow and try again. Sorry for the delay.

[edit] Strike that. Just rename the file and add .SAV that's what I did and it seems to work just fine.

Lurkers wonder what the damage being done is. In other words: This is either the wimpiest WWII scenario on record or you guys have not been posting your casualties and victories! We want to know what is happening :p

Also, what turn is it and what are the VP like?
 
I agree with rcoutme. I'm curious because by the play by play it looks like Eric_A is kicking butt. Post screen shots too!

I haven't checked the F8 screen for VPs lately. I don't list the destruction
of individual units because it takes too long. We did destroy a lot
of CW bombers last turn when we overran the last city in Burma and we
destroyed more with airstrikes on Borneo.

I haven't seen a US Navy ship in many turns, they are either hiding
or using the Romulian cloaking device.

I don't see that I'm going to be able to play my turn before I leave town tomorrow. I'm at work now, have school tonight and fly out tomorrow morning. I'll try my darndest to play after school tonight. In fact, that should work now that I think about it. Sorry for the rambling, but if you don't here from me, then I didn't get to it before I left.

The US Navy is out looking for the Japanese Fleet coincidentally.
