C3C PBEM : Midway - WWII pacific scenario PBEM

While Chinese tanks show their prowess, our pilots show their skills.

BB Kongo is lying not so far from the shores of Sibu and will become in time an excellent diving place full of Japanese skulls...
Poor fighter squadrons (2) that tried to defend Manokwari were last seen "going" down with flames and smoke coming out of their planes. The Japanese Air Command will have to learn one day you don't train pilots with video consoles !!!

Hey! Screenshots and vp's guys! What's the scoop?? Lurkers wonder...

Yes please :scan: , love to see some armies in action ;) .

I have sent the turn again. I have checked this time and it is the right one.

Finally a breakthrough in China with the fall of Sian.

The British have launched a counter-attack on Borneo,
I didn't notice it until after my artillery had fired, but we were
able to damage some units with bombers.

Looking forward to 1943, I expect to get nuked very soon.

Now why would you think that I wonder?

For Christmas, America decided it wanted Kwasomethingarather, Kwalagien or something, we don't need to remember how to spell it, we own it now. We trashed the Elite Zero situated there, and only a insignificant Nipponese Infantry remains on the west side of the Island. Our troops would have to fall asleep or something to let him in (and if the do, we always have a back up plan :nuke: )

Sunk a sub off the coast of Australia and a Transport off Borneo (?). Captured artillery on Borneo (heck, I wanted something for Christmas, too!)

Somebody include a screen shot of the situation in China. I'm curious how the fighting looks out there.

Thanks
Misfit

Screen Shot:
The situation in Northern China Jan/43, Lanchow has just been captured, it
was undefended.

We also Captured Boela and Carnavon this turn.
We sunk a US cruiser and sub in the Central Pacific. We destroyed
3 fighter squadrons on the ground at Waingapoe. Also we sank 1 DD
and a transport in the Coral Sea. GPS

Good thing they were empty

I would be playing my turn right now, but Hotmail has crashed, but I assume it will be back up within the next half hour.

America has had a mildly successful month. The last pocket of resistance on Kwajalein (I can spell it now, I think) was crushed with ease, with the Nipponese Infantry and Submarine there obliterated. Also, my scouts saw a transport and carrier off Saipan, so of course, we bombed it. We were successful in damaging both craft, but they are still afloat.

I would post a screenshot, but I cannot think of anything interesting to take it of, without giving too much away.

Ketapang recaptured. Our valliant soldiers hidden in the jungle launched an assault and destroyed the conscript garrison there, sinking at the same time a destroyer that had taken "shelter" there !

I am going on a short holiday. I am leaving very soon, and will be back Sunday afternoon (NZ time, like saturday, or early sunday US). It shouldnt hold the game back much at all
