C3C PBEM : "Murat" - Napoleonic scenario-based PBEM (level : newbees)

I took over Prussia when this game was rolling already. The former leader couldn't have developed Prussia in a way that it was 'strong' enough. Just like the Ottomans and Austria, Prussian units aren't very good.
I was very happy with the alliance with especially the Austrians. That way my few cities where more protected.
But even with great stacks I couldn't break anything.
So when Russia attacked me I was finished.

Superb game. I am in another Napoleonic scenario, so it was very interesting to read this one (all 37 pages). This is the only scenario I have done (I think we are doing the same one) and it is superb.

Well done guys for finishing it, and it was entertaining read with interesting twists.

This game would have been over a lot longer had I quit a few turns earlier because I rushed the last two turns that I played and as result I lost two to four armies that would have made it unstoppable with those two armies still intact. But even with those things happening, it was still a comprehensive victory.

I knew that once France was toast that the alliance would turn on me. I knew that was going to happen so I turned on the alliance first by attacking the Prussians. I knew I had to get Paris to stand any chance of winning this game. Once I got Paris I had a massive stack of GBs and once I had that I knew tha I was well on my way to victory. Considering that I knew that I had the second tier of attack after the French I knew that it would be hard to stop me. Also the fact that I had the No 2 and 3 defensive units in strength meant that I was pretty sure that I could be more adventurous in leaving cities open. the could also hopefully attract some troops so that I could also so they could be left open and vulnerable to attack.
