OK I felt I owed it to RJ who always want to try that out. So he should be in charge here :

the four Indian civs (Iroquois, Incas and Aztecs and Mayas) are in a locked alliance and their aim is to defeat the bearded white men.
Up to the native players to decide if they want none, some or all European civs played by humans.

You can express your wishes for civs :

Players :
- Random Fan
- Sega Fanatic
- bigbill0126
- LostKnight
- punkbass2000

Civs

- Aztecs : punkbass2000
- Incas : bigbill0126
- Iroquois : Random Fan
- Mayas : LostKnight
-----------
- England : Sega Fanatic
- France : AI
- Portugal : AI
- Spain : AI

Two organization rules to follow :
- the GPS return mail rule
- send me your password after your first turn (it will be saved and untouched).

Side note : who does NOT know what the Pinta is ?

Do I need to say I want to be in this one? :) Oh and my preference is Iroquois! Also please preserve a place for Ironduck in this one too ;)

If there is still an opening for a Native American civ I would love to be part of this one. :)

@ Sega and Greybeard : any preferred civ ?
Sega if there are few humans for European countries, I suggest you take England as it is less likely England will be invaded by other Europen powers.
Now that is up to the natives-players to decide.

Now where is RJ ?

Thanks for starting this, Loulong! Very unfortunately, :( , I don't have time to start a new pbem due to work constraints, so I'll have to pass.

Rubberjello's idea (albeit he cannot play in this one) was to have actually the 4 American civs and to divide Dutch holdings which sounds like a good idea to me.
If you agree to that, I will prepare the biq accordingly.

Since RJ cannot play and that you are the oldest member in this PBEM Greybeard, I will let you manage it (rules, players, etc...).
Just keep me informed and I will modify the biq and the first post accordingly. And you will be the one to start the PBEM albeit I will do the administrative planning phase.
Basically you are in charge, OK ?

I would like the Aztec or Maya as I am playing the Inca in another game. If it is possible to have all four Native American civs I would prefer that. Since it is a locked alliance and co-operative for the Native American civs i don't think it would be a problem that the Aztec and the Maya start out close together. Let me know if it is possible to have all four Native American civs.

OK, no pb adding a fourth native Indian civ.

Proposition :
Random Fan : Iroquois (first to ask)
punkbass2000 : Aztecs
GreyBeard : Mayas
bigbill0126 : Incas

Sega Fanatic : England
France : AI
Spain : AI
Portugal : AI
Dutch divided between France and Spain.

Tell me what you think

hmm I do not really like the idea about playing against AI...

@Random Fan
I think there will be plenty of challenge for you. Remember, you are digging yourselves out of a gigantic tech hole. When you play a single AI civ, you can take advantage of their incredible (at higher levels) tech discounts that allows you to get techs more cheaply. But if all 4 humans are playing, you don't get the tech discount.
I'm not saying that it would be super-hard to keep the Europeans off your soil. I think this crew could do it. But to carry off a reverse conquer? That will be very, very tough, even against the pitiful AI.

Yes I agree it would be challenging but I lack motivation to play against AI nontheless. There should be at least 3 human players controlling european civs imho or I think I will pass this time.

I can take france if you still accpet European civ!

Human players will take the Native Civs to the freakin' cleaners if they knew they were going to cooperate against them. The European powers would naturally unite and easily kill them off early to remove the competition. You wouldn't stand a chance (even if you could keep an 8 player pbem going long enough to find out!) Don't forget the hundreds (literally!) of Barbs that Loulong has in this scenario that pop up. They don't make the Native civs job any easier (but they make for a lot of slave labor!)

Actually I was thinking of using the standard version for this PBEM. "Reasonable barbarians".
But I agree that Human Europeans would probably clean the natives first and for sure would not trade techs.

Sorry but I am going to have pass on this game. I thought I had time to get involved in another game, but the further I get into the games I'm already in the more time I am having to spend on a turn. I guess I should see some of them through before I take on any more.
