I guess I missed that.... why against razing?

I am for it. It happens/ has happened in real life so why not. Furthermore, this is a scenario where you can build settlers. so, why not?

Razing is realistic and it should be allowed. That said I wouldn't consider it a good idea as you are meant to gain more land as onedreamer said.
