Killed a scouting Legionary and attacked the southernmost roman city.
Egypt begged for a peace treaty, that we agreed upon from the height of our enlightened magnanimity toward inferior peoples. And they dared to call us cannibals...

sent some HC to attack Sardis and to my surprise found only 1 hoplite and 1 archer defending the large city. took the city and some catapults. Macedon does not defend its cities?

Hannibal's Army had the best over 3 roman garrisons (plus the 2 in the previous turn...) but this was still not enough to conquer Canusium

Surrender to the might of Carthage !

Cyzicus had more units fortified but still succumbed to Persian troops. We lost only one HC. Antandinis, on the other hand, fell easily. Asia minor is completely Persian now. Even killed the hoplite between the two newly acquired cities.

The fall of Canusium:

catapults bombardement injured the two garrisons.
War Elephants kills one and Hannibal's Army kills the other one, loosing 1 or 2 life points. Surprise... near the town there is a legionary and has to be eliminated. Hannibal's Army attacks, with 4life points, and wins with 1 left
In the north killed a garrison trying to rescue Pisae... which will fall soon !

Lost 1 archer, 1 swordsman and 1 Elephant.

Carthaginian troops are marching in the streets of Rome.

I got what I wished for... there were many troops packed in Byzantinium, and now there still is.... Persian ones (lost 3 HC)

I'll be on vacation for 2 weeks, so we'll probably have to wait untill I come back. I'll probably lose anyway...

Conquered Ancona with no losses (redlined Hannibal though o_O).

I am leaving tomorrow for holidays until the 28th. I may have time to play however, so send the saves anyways but don't worry if you don't get a GPS

Nesebur and Athens are now Persian cities (lost 1 HC). 3 HC outside Thessolonika killed and taken worker.

I'm thinking that this game has died. It's silly to think to continue it in such a state.

Persia won, 2nd place for Carthage, 3rd place I would give to Rome for the simple fact that they honored the game until the end (and they didn't surrender or leave empty cities ), thing that I don't feel like saying about Macedonia.
