It was brief, I was not even allowed to make the moves. The victory was declared immediately after builds were finished.

Well, I am just an old-timer here but congrats anyway.

Was it a fun game ? Balanced ? What tech-level did you reach ? (to know whether other such PBEMs can be created).

Great scenario for sure As you know resources weren't evenly distributed, so it wasn't balanced in that sense, but the terrain isn't balanced either. I started in a very mountaneous region so it was hard to grow, but I also had a lot of resources.

Oh forgot to say, the tech level - almost completed the tree. In the end I stopped researching because all I needed to do was hurry settlers to grab enough land after Uesugi commited seppuku. I was running a tech research cooperation with Imagawa most of the game, and we played 90 turns total.

I misjudged Uesugi's military strength. The Mori were much stronger. I chose bad war target on essential moment.
