C3C PBEM : "Shogun" - Sengoku scenario-based PBEM

The second wave of attack was even more successful than the first, it does indeed appear that most of the Uesugi warriors have put down their arms.

Conquered Shiogama - killed one horseman. Conquered Iwanuma, no defenders. Conquered Koriayama, no defenders. Conquered Sendai, no defenders. Conquered Ishinomaki - killed 2 samurai spears, 1 bushi, 1 horsman.

No casualties on our side.

Including a snapshot of the front as it looks now, with red arrows indicating the three lines of offense (some conquests from last turn left out).

portuga, why did you quit?? It's been a great long game, might as well have played the last couple of turns rather than just leave your world in ruins.. :(

Well... I thought that If I let you take all the cities it would greatly unbalance the game in your favor. Maybe this way kuningas and Rcoutme still hava a chance :)

Ah.. well ok.. Just felt a bit cheated from the fun of running over your cities after all the buildup and strategic decisions. I was surprised by how little resistance there was though, I didn't get to play out half of my sneaky plans ;)

As for the Mori, I think they will need a miracle to win this game now ;) It's over at 35% land and pop, and Imagawa and me are rushing to get the most land first..

I was so behind you and kuningas in tech that I had to take my chances, to reach some vital techs that would allow me to defend against you or kuningas. I was just starting to build civil defenses and spears, but that was too late.
I seams you are in the best position to win the game, so maybe some alliances may change in the next turns, and perhaps Mori will still have something to say :)

Kuningas and I have been cooperating with tech most of the game, so I'm not about to turn against him.. which leaves the Mori isolated against what is clearly a much stronger opponent because of the tech lead.

Kuningas could of course try to sneak attack me, but now that my armies are returning home I doubt he would be successful considering that my millitary is much stronger than his (according to my millitary advisor).

 Oh great...your military is better than Kuningas so you won't use it?? There is no honor left in Japan. The Mori never started a fight and never treated Japanese civilians badly. We offered honorable vassalage and we get repaid with treachery!

Well...every city will be defended to the death! :ninja:

You won't get this kind of satisfaction from the Mori: :suicide:

Hehe..

Umm.. I would think that it's honourable not to sneak attack one's allies just because one is stronger ;)

I don't understand the treachery part - I'm not at war with you, so what are you referring to?

I just feel bad for all the Uesugi civilians who could have led a happy life under the house of Takeda, a life filled with luxuries and great wonders of the world! :D

Treachery came from all those who did attack me.

Honor is lost since you plan to win w/o helping me fight. :joke:

Ironduck you have nothing to fear, all for reason, I don't have frigging iron source :D

I landed 15 horse archers on the Mori's beach would be 20 but they sank one caravel :( I didn't know they are so advanced.

While others are busy fighting, the Takeda are celebrating their wonders and prosperous cities :)

Btw, Kuningas I remember you declined my iron a while back because you said you didn't need it any longer..? It disappeared from your map?

It seems rcoutme isn't coming back to play the final few turns according to the leave anouncement thread..?

akots, could you replace rcoutme for the endgame?

I can. Based on your description seems just pressing Enter would do less harm than trying to do something. What is the password? And who has started the game?

It seems that I have started, so no problem with password then. Actually, I'm sure I lost the record of the admin password but I can try to remember. Bring it on then if Rob has no objections.

Well, he said in the leave announcement thread to find replacements for him and to ask him for passwords, so you can probably just send a message to him to get it.

Here's your turn - you're supposed to kick Kuningas in the rear ;)
