C3C Training succession game

Well somebodies maths needs polishing up. (Alneyan :nono: ) We have 2 turn 5's :rolleyes:
So to adapt I have started at 12 and played 4 turns to 15.

Pre-Turn
Good job with the Celts.
We seem a bit overexposed at the moment.
One citizen heading down the Iberian peninsular without an escort will be in big trouble when Carthoginian forces come up looking for revenge. Very soon.
Sicily needs reinforcing as Carthage will act to retake the island. We need more troops there.
We could also do with some cats to reduce Carthoginian forces when they attack.

I'll try and set up garrison towns on both of the roads out of Spain to contain counter-attacks.

Turn 11 (300BC)
Marsala: Garison->catapult

Luna Founded to the East, Archer garrisons town to keep out Sythians.
Caralis: Legion stomps Carthoginian archer who popped out of Olbia. Is promoted to elite.
Galley from Marsala sent to pick up reinforcements.

Sythia wines for 35g and territory map. Nobody else wanted them.

Post Turn
Need to keep building forces. We now have gpt deals with most civs so hopefully they are less likely to attack us. Keeping Mac and Persia on parr we gained Monarchy and Astronomy + gold and stuff.
Now hold both islands, 1 left.
Two choke points set up on Iberian Peninsula need reinforcing, make good staging areas for invasion force, plus allow us to develop lands further back.
Little expansion East yet, may be worth looking at that when we can support it.
It's up to next but it might be useful to have a city opposite Messana for safe troop transfer to Scicily.
Also Research can still be changed if team disagree with choice.
 
I should have made that clearer. The turn 5 was simply a couple of changes I made to the previous gamefile (some micromanagement, and selling a tech to Persia), so I didn't really play this turn. I fully played turns 6, 7, 8 and 9, and ended the game on turn 10 before generating the turn, in case you wanted to make a few changes; the previous player did the same as well.

To avoid future confusion:
Can we all put dates on out turns.
Any adjustments would come under Preturn heading, with date if you like.

I'll play another turn and renumber mine then. :eek:

just posting to let u no that i will play this game (the one i have time to play at school... of course i didn't just install a game on this computer prof smith!)
 
Preturn-
Start looking at trades we have going etc, look like we're doing well, on to checking shield waste... GASP! we're ok, except for rome, which will waste 20 shields when the legionary II is finished, that needs to be fixed... check other options, the only tempting one is switching it to heroic epic... it'll only take 10 turns, and i cant help it, the additional leaders will b a huge help... move garison from syracuse to protect helpless worker near carthagian galley, move legionary I to guard worker near caralis... with that i feel my setup phase is done!

If niveclough hasn't come back in the next 24 I'd suggest that we play from the last save and he can jump back in when he has his problems sorted out.
 
Looks like nivekclough still has problems. It would be best if noldodan picks up the game from my last save and plays 5 from there. Nive can jump back in when he has his new PC set up.
