Can I download a board for off-line ref??

Im just wondering if I can download a message board, ( eg Civ2 tech or similar) So that I can read them at my leisure....? Im not very Au-fait with the message board thingy yet, so any help would eb useful. Cheers in advance...Jez.

If you are on the page you want, just chose "save as" from the file menu This will only save the current page, and if you are viewing it off-line, then clicking on any links will generally try to then connect you to the internet.

If you want to download a whole section of a website (and have the links etc working off-line), then you need some specialist webdownloader software.

Try some of these.

You can download entire threads: there is a button down each thread (named: Download Thread). Haven't checked if you can download a whole board though...

Or all you need is something like netvampire. A shareware that "sucks" all the website down to your HD. No need to say you'll neeed tons of space.

Thanx guys, thats given me a place to start. I have to share a Net connection so I dont always get time to surf the boards, so I wanted them off-line for a while. Cheers, I'll try a couple of them now.
