Can I set the default leader name to match the leaderhead?

One of the minor annoyances of my game is that the leader name by default, and the game saves all use my system account name. Rather than selecting it manually each game (which doesn't work when I want a random leader) is there a way to get the game to use the leaderhead's name instead of mine by default, including when I select a random leader?

Also, I notice that sometimes when I start a game the default leader name is 'username' and sometimes it's [default]. Why is that?

Do use the BUG Mod? If you do, press "ctrl-alt-o" to go to BUG Mod Options. Then, under "Scoreboard" tab, use "Leader" as the
Display Name and
disable "Use Player Name".

Or simply open your in-game menu. Click "Your Details". Then rename to their original leader names. If your not familiar with their names, check civilopedia out.

This is exactly what I'm trying to avoid having to do. I want the leader name there by default, even if I pick Random when I start a game.

I'll see if I can try the BUG mod. Right now I'm having issues getting other mods to work (Blue Marble and BUFFY), and I'm still very confused as to what is what between BUG/BAT/BULL/BUFFY. Is BUG included in BUFFY?

BUG stands for "BTS Unaltered Gameplay".
BAT is BTS Artistic Tweaks?! Use for pretty graphics.
BULL means BUg+dLL, some sort of extended BUG version(w dll I think). What I know is that it has additional sentry actions and ability to pre-chop forests(pre-build improvements).
Then BUFFY stands for Bts Unaltered Fun FactorY. just kidding. It's BUG+BULL+HOF actually, which means already BUG included. But BULL is an enhanced version of BUG so why is the need to combined the both of them. Whatever the reason is, they're pretty much helpful in making your civing life easier. Must have.

BTW, if your having problem installing BM and BUFFY. Why won't you post another thread about the issue.

I installed BUFFY which includes BUG, and disabling "Use player name" does nothing. The game autopopulates my username for the Leader Name when I start a game and for the savegame file. So I'm back at square one. Is there a mod that will auto populate the leaderhead name for my Leader Name so I don't have to change it manually for every game?

Okay, I see it now. The BUG mod affects only the "Scoreboard". I'm gonna look for another solution.

EDIT: Tough luck. Can't find any, ATM. I'll keep looking, though.
