The teachings of Jesus make it clear that after God's 'chosen people' didn't live up to his standards (i.e. failed to please Him), he extended this 'position' to the... riff-raff. For example, the parable about the wealthy lord that prepared a banquet, and invited all his upper-class friends and associates - but they all came up with an excuse to decline the invitation (had better things to do than go hang out I guess - maybe didn't value the friendship), so, the master sent his servants to go get people from the alleys, off the streets, the poor areas of town, etc. until all the seats were filled at the banquet. And alas, the attendees were not only present, but grateful.
So the 'Good News' is, we are all chosen people now - if each individual himself chooses to be (by seeking His company).
Anyway, to heck with this chosen vs. non-chosen. This is Anno Domini.
Also, speaking of Jews; I find it ironic that such efficient business-minded right-wing characters such as Henry Ford, and the 3rd Reich circus had such a problem with Jews - because they were so successful at business, and monetary matters. Effectively, the Jews were too good at playing the game THEY (the anti-Semites) wanted to master, so they cheated/dealt them out by force.
"We can't beat you, so we're going to gas you". -Pretty much sums it up. Pesonally I'm impressed with their business and finance efficiency. They've worked wonders here in the U.S. markets.
