Can someone help me please (about the height of maya royals), I suck with google

Some guy in another forum I post in ( a racist) says mayas could not have created the maya civilization.
I recall reading 2 or 3 times while reading articles about maya royal tombs, and the skeletons found always had a rather short height, like from 145 cm to 160 (I may be a little wrong with the heights, but that was the point), which is typical of yucatan native americans.
So I would like to show him (and others in that forum) that, but I cant seem to find any article mentioning the height of the royal skeletons, if I search lord of copan height, maya royal tomb height etc

Maybe you are better than me with google, so please help me if you can.

I don't really know anything about the height of Mayan kings, but how would their being short prevent their building a civilization? It is brains and organization that build civilizations, not the height of their inhabitants.

If my memory serves me well (history channel), the average hieght of the ancient male Mayan is 160 cm, the female being less than 150 cm.
Whats interesting is that the skeletons from the Maya elite are larger than the average hieght of Mayan people.

I couldn't find anything about the height of the Maya, but I'm not very good with google. Given their diet, they probably were short, but I don't see how that would have impeded them in building a civilization. And who else could have built it anyway? I bet the racist guy is seizing on poor old Quetzalcoatl and claiming the "Aryans" built all the Mayan stuff.

Not really. The elites would have a much better diet tan the average mayan, and so be able to grow larger. (Diet is one of the main factors in determining height)

Thanks for giving me the name of Vera Tiesler, she seems to be the expert of maya paleo anthropology.
It helped me to prove that modern mayas and classic mayas are the same people.
Classic mayas males were in average 1,60 tall, classic maya females 1, 50

The elites were a little taller, for example the skeleton of the pakal tomb was 165, and the red queen 154.
