Can the AND Extra LHs/Civs pack be adapted for C2C

Hey, guys!

Can anybody explain to me, how to get this Lead/Civ-pack? Just a short describtion where to find this "extra"-trunk in the SVN - I can't find that and don't konw how to get the leaderheads-pack... :)

That would be nice! Thanks...

Btw... I just was away for a little while, because I had and have a bit more to do than I expected. I plan a few for C2C to add (I just have to make it compatible)... I'll tell you more in detail in a short!

Yippiehyayeah!

It is one directory level up from the normal C2C trunk:
https://caveman2cosmos.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/caveman2cosmos/

I downloaded the Extra_LH0.fpk file and all the leaderfiles. The Extra_LH0-file put i in the asset-directory, the leaderfiles into the custom-leader directory. But no new leader appears in the game, only the old ones... anyone could help me?

I'd have to take a look, i never looked at them yet, but for EVERYONE's info, i am putting in STATIC pics of the Leaderheads i can find in the normal mod, and the LH pack will have all the rest in it to d/l.

I like Static leader heads. BTW I did test the extra leader heads before putting them on the SVN so any errors may be in the names of the folders.

Do we need an SVN for extra civs?

Yeah, i think we need something for them, but i believe "we" are changing the names of the civs anyway, but for now it will help, cause i have tons and tons of civs= that need to be re-made. Thats way i can keep better track of them.

I personally think that the animated leader heads are overrated. I would not even care if they were just a flag or symbol. Having a nice image of them is great.

Also some more questions ...

1. Having them non-animated saves a lot on graphics correct?
2. This means more leader heads can be added correct?
3. This mean we could final add more core civs? If so how many?

1. Definitely. Went from 328,000 KB to 259,000 KB
2. Yes infact if you look at the list i have over 30 added in that list now. (Thats why i asked of the new ones i added, were do they go:confused::confused::p
3. Definitely, As many as we want. But for NOW i dont want some off the wall places like you have for the Elite civs you have for Embassies, NOT just yet, sorry. Cause like i stated in the other thread, i never even heard of half of the ones i added unique units for:crazyeye::)

I was going to suggest known ones like Israel, Huns, Canada, etc but then Praetyre proposed the whole Progenitor Civs stuff. I am torn between using generalized prehistoric civs and then having more specialized well known civs with just a regional culture attached to them.

I noticed that the following leaderheads were still animated. Are you going to replace these too?

- Curtin
- Deganawida
- Menelik II
- Menzies
- Mongkut
- Ramkhamhaeng
- Suppiluliuma

Not at this time, i am working on like ten different projects right now:sad: (Well at lest in my head i am  )

This is great. I now have my 2 favorite leaders out of the leaderhead pack in C2C. Thanks DancingHoskuld for putting the leaders in the SVN and thank you Andy for the link to the files.

Where do I put the .fpk file?

The extra Leaderheads download works with v22? I tried to install them and they overwrote the current folder of the Mods leaderheads  I must be silly as hell but can't figure out how to install them properly, I ended up reinstalling C2C :P

Thanks if someone can clearly explain to me how to add them in. :D

That is what it is supposed to do. The extras go in the same place as the normal ones as it is easier to code/write XML that way. They shouldn't overwrite the existing leaders but add the extra leaders into the same folder.
