Can this play Hotseat?

I tried starting a hotseat game multiple times.
Erebus map type, Standard size, 10 civs.

But each time I start the game it freezes during initialisation.

I have no problems playing large and huge maps in SP so what could be causing this?

You are also using erebus in SP games? I know some mapscripts have a significant addition to loading times. I cannot think of anything specific that would break hotseat games.

Same settings, same thing.
I tested it by starting a SP game just now and it works.
But when I try a hotseat it breaks. But its not a crash when you get a message from civ (like going OSS or memory allocation) but the whole application crashes.

I have played it many times in hotseat, so it most certainly is possible.

Ok, than can anyone give me any advice on how to get it working?

I am currently wining a SP game under the same settings so I know my PC should be able to handle it.

Same settings includes same Civs? And are you fully patched (C I think). There was an issue with Svartalfar settler animations once upon a time.
