Can you copy the cd sound to the harddrive?

I have a relative new cd-drive wiche is VERY noisy, so it would be better (for my ears) to run it from the harddisk, can I?

i think you need to do the complete install. why do you want to listen to the cd anyways? Go download some music from kazaa or audio galaxy and get winamp!

Never worked for a friend of mine who also needed that crappy music, and he tried for ages. Though I must concur with H tower, get some real music my fellow Nordmann.

you could probably download the songs from the internet, it shouldn't be that hard to find ode to joy...

I run the game with no CD to begin with. I use a No-CD patch and have copies all the files that I want on my HD. Here is the no-CD link, BTW:
