Can you roll back the patch?

Unfort if i knew sooner i would have disabled the auto updater on Steam, now i cant play the game due to bugged interview with civs, mouse pointer, etcs.

This is why i rather have this off of Steam, i mean it doesnt require Steam to install/play the game.

Is it possible to roll back to previous patch? If so do i need to uninstall the game and start over and look for the older patch??

I would also like to roll the patch back. As it stands, my game is unplayable whether loading an old save or starting a new game. I also cannot exit AI initiated dialogue screens. that's one of many issues I've been experiencing since the patch was applied last evening.
